Nick Marsh is a British journalist with ten years of experience at BBC News. From its hub in Singapore, he covers business, politics, society and breaking news across Asia.

 

He's a skilled broadcaster on television and radio with a track record of delivering sharp, live analysis and crafting strong packaged reports. Nick previously worked on the BBC’s Asia digital desk and regularly writes high-impact pieces for the BBC’s news website, live pages and social media channels.

 

Away from Singapore, Nick has spent extended periods in Ukraine, Hong Kong and Seoul. As of 2025, he's reported from a dozen countries in Europe and Asia - including Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Sri Lanka and Italy.

 

He is also a dual UK-EU citizen with roots in several parts of Europe. He speaks fluent Italian as well as Spanish, French and German to a good standard.
